Meet Bob & Dodie

When it comes to RVs, we're here to help. With more than 50 years in the RV industry between us, we'll help you make the decisions that matter for the comfort of your investment. We listen to what you want in a new or used home away from home, and help you find the floor plan that fits.

Since 1984 we've grown into one of the most successful RV dealers in the Walker area, with expert technicians and a friendly staff who know campers inside and out.

We maintain and service every unit we sell, so you can relax knowing we're here if anything comes up. Our job is to keep your vacation relaxing, the way it was meant to be.

With so many makes and models out there, how do you decide which one fits the way you camp? That's where Dodie's experience comes in. Years of watching how every floor plan holds up are filed away and ready when you need them. She keeps the lot to quality units at sensible prices. As a volume dealer, Lake Country RV gets a real price break from the factory and passes that savings on to you. Dodie hopes to get to know everyone she meets, and she'll keep answering your questions for as long as you own your RV.

With more than 40 years of experience, Bob knows all the ins and outs of your recreational vehicle. He'll help you with the finer points of maintaining your RV for the years ahead, so you can stay focused on your vacation. About warranty work

Factories don't pay for service calls, so we only do warranty work on units bought from us. If your RV is going to live near Walker, buy it near Walker.

What are the most common kinds of RVs?

Travel trailers, fifth wheels, motorhomes, pop-up campers, slide-in truck campers and park models. If you're not sure which fits how you camp, that's exactly what Dodie is here for.

I bought my RV out of state and it's parked in Walker. Can you do my warranty work?

Warranty work goes through the dealer you bought from. Factories don't pay for service calls, so we don't do other dealers' warranty work.

If your RV is going to live in the Walker area, seriously consider buying in the Walker area. We're a small dealership and we take care of our own customers first. For the best service, buy where you play.

My old trailer's roof rotted out. Why?

Most likely it wasn't sealed properly when it was built, or it wasn't maintained. Check your sealants at least once a year, ideally two or three times.

Hardware-store silicone doesn't stick. Prep the surface first, and use the right sealant for your roof type: there are different ones for rubber roofs and for vertical surfaces. Never use tar. Our parts counter can set you up with the right one.

Should I use silicone on my roof?

Never. Silicone will eat the rubber on your roof and void its warranty. We carry the sealant made by the company that makes rubber roofs, made specifically for them.

I need a new lid for my 14 × 14 roof vent. Do you have it?

Probably. There are four brands of 14 × 14 vents, and the hinge tells them apart. Get on the roof and take a picture of the hinge from the top and the side, or sketch it, and we'll match the right lid.
